Poppy Corby-Tuech (as tempting as it might be to say it sounds like tush, it’s actually pronounced tu-esh) is your dream come true. This French-born brunette beauty moved to Great Britain at the age of nine, and is fluent in French, English, and being smoking hot. Poppy got her start as a musician, playing the keyboard in post-punk/electro bands, including White Rose Movement and Genuflex, proving chicks who can rock are awesomely great at rocking our world. The multitalented, raven-haired personality went on to show off her equally impressive acting chops, starting as Demetria in the film Dracula: The Dark Prince (2013), and moving onto Spy Girl in Youth (2015), The White Room (2015) as Angela Smith, as Poppy (!) in Una (2016), and as Rosier in the Fantastic Beasts film franchise in 2018 and 2022. Shifting into the smaller screen, the shapely seductress had a recurring role in The Royals in 2015-2016 as Prudence, and went back in time to do two period pieces: 2017 Hulu series Harlots, about an 18th century brothel, and Amazon Prime 2106 series TheCollection, set in a post-war Paris fashion house. It was in The Collection where we saw a retro-lingerie clad Poppy, saucily dressed in garters and a bullet-point brassiere. Mr. Skin, though, was well aware of this pouty-lipped pretty even before this, when she guest-starred in 2014 on TV crime/drama/mystery series SilentWitness. The star plays Eva Liron, a nanny planning to blackmail a footballer with a sex tape of them—and turns up in the morgue. Sometimes the dead do tell tales, and this story is all about Poppy’s pretty poppers being on full display!
